Up In Smoke Catering was born from years spent around grills, smokers, family gatherings, and celebrations where food was always at the center of every memory. What began as a love for barbecue and Southern-inspired comfort food quickly became a calling to share that same experience with others.

Today, Up In Smoke Catering proudly serves the Hampton Roads community with handcrafted meals that combine bold flavors, quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality. A Message from Our Founder

1st of all Up in Smoke Catering wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't for my wife. Chene Avant It was her who planted this as a business in my head. She saw the potential with my foods, it was her who inspired me to take my cooking to another level, and eventually to making seasonings. The love that I saw when she took a bite out of something I created was the drive, I needed to level up my cooking. And that grew into my love for cooking for family, and friends to where uisc is today. "Up In Smoke Catering was built on my love for feeding people and seeing the joy that great food brings. There is nothing better than watching family and friends gather around a table, share a meal, and create memories together. That's what drives us every day.
